Why is ChemOffice Asking for Activation?

When launching ChemOffice from AppsAnywhere for the first time on a computer, AppsAnywhere runs an activation process before it loads ChemDraw. On some computers, this might take more time than expected. If ChemOffice or ChemDraw is loaded from the desktop icon that is installed before AppsAnywhere launches ChemDraw on its own, the activation script will fail to activate the software and you will see the activation prompt.

If this happens, remove ChemOffice from the Cloudpaging Player and reload it from AppsAnywhere and wait for ChemDraw to load on its own. After this, you should be able to load ChemOffice and ChemDraw from their desktop icons as normal.

If you continue to experience activation prompts, contact the IT Help Desk.
