How To Check for Files in Creative Cloud Synced Files and Save Them Elsewhere

Adobe will be discontinuing Creative Cloud Synced files starting October 1, 2024. This document will discuss how to check if you have files in the Creative Cloud Synced Files service and how to get the latest copy to save in a new location.

Folders and files synced to Creative Cloud through these means may also be shared with other Creative Cloud subscribers. Creative Cloud Synced files are also integrated into some of Adobe’s mobile applications, including Photoshop, Express, Rush, and Fresco, as a vehicle to transfer files across devices.

Using Adobe’s Website

  1. Navigate to https://assets.adobe.com/files
  2. Sign-in with the email address your Adobe Creative Cloud license is assisted to. For most, this will be your @umsystem.edu SSO. If you do not know which email address to use, the IT Help Desk or IT Software Management can help identify which to use.
  3. If you have any files or folders in Synced Files they should be listed similar to the screenshot below.
