Each and everyday students and staff log on to complete their various tasks for the day, but what do you do if something goes wrong with your computer? Who do you contact for any form of technical assistance? Luckily, we have a wonderful department that is ready to assist you with any technical needs. Below are the wonderful teams and their most commonly used services that they provide.
Help Desk:

- Assists with account setup, passwords, MFA and more.
- Network Access
- Assists with the connection of personal or campus devices via wifi/ethernet.
- Assists with the renaming/rejoining of VPNs and VDI support.

No matter the issue at hand, the Help Desk and Tech Support group overall will help in any way they can or direct you to the person or place that can. The Help Desk can be contacted in a plethora of different ways. Most commonly, they can be reached via submitting a ticket. To submit a ticket, visit it.mst.edu/help-desk/ and click “Cherwell Ticket System” to access the ticket system. Alternatively, the Help Desk can be reached via the “Chat Now” box in the bottom right corner of the Help Desk page. The Help Desk also accepts calls and walk-ins.
